Jorah mentioned her dragons, and she lit up. Daenerys was always happy to talk about her children. "They are doing well," she said. "I have gotten used to riding Drogon, and feel confident. Oh, if I could, I would spend most of the day high in the sky..."
Dany spoke more of her children, but she also had other matters to discuss. So when talk of her dragons came to an end, the bright joy on her face faded into a serious expression.
"I have a dilemma, Ser Jorah," she said. "Jon Snow, son of Eddard Stark, is the self-proclaimed King in the North. He has come to ask for my help."
Daenerys told him how Jon arrived with tales of undead men who killed every living thing in their path. How her Hand said he was an honest man, and how she was allowing him to mine the dragonglass.
"What do you make of all this, Ser Jorah? I sense that he is truthful, and yet his claim of an army of undead men sounds like mere fantasy." Daenerys looked up at him as they continued to stroll down the beach. Jorah was from the North, and she valued his opinion greatly.
